ICACIN 2024
is a forum for presenting technological advances and research results in the fields of ICT, with a particular focus on the latest developments in AI and its applications in healthcare and cybersecurity.
The conference is organized in conjunction with the BCU AI Symposium and will be hybrid (in-person & online) hosted at STEAMhouse, Birmingham City University (UK) with a parallel session at the Faculty of Sciences Ain Chock Casablanca, Hassan II University (Morocco), bringing together innovative minds and cutting-edge research from around the world on 16-17 december 2024.
The conference will bring together leading researchers in the domain of computing and informatics from around the world. We warmly welcome authors to submit your articles to ICACIN 2024 and share the valuable experiences with the scientists and scholars around the world.
The conference proceedings will be published in the Springer Book Series: "Lecture Notes on Data Engineering and Communications Technologies." All papers must meet high-quality standards to be considered by Springer and included in the proceedings.

The conference will bring together leading researchers in the domain of computing and informatics from around the world. Submission
The use of artificial intelligence (AI)–generated text in an article shall be disclosed in the acknowledgements section of your paper. The sections of the paper that use AI-generated text shall have a citation to the AI system used to generate the text.-->
The main submission guidelines are :

- ICACIN 2024 submissions are required to be double blind (anonymous submissions). In order for the paper to be reviewed, please remove the authors names and affiliations from the paper and upload the pdf file to your Easychair account.

Submit your Camera-Ready paper by 1st December 2024. Papers submitted after this deadline will not be considered for publication.
Follow the conference template for both the paper content and references. Non-compliance may result in rejection.
Ensure the similarity index of your paper is below 20%. Papers exceeding this limit will not be considered by Springer. Ensure that no AI tools were used in the writing of this paper and that no AI-generated similarity is detected in its content.

Only papers meeting all submission requirements and registered by 10th December 2024 will be eligible for publication in the Springer book series.
Please note: Ensure that the paper is thoroughly edited and meets the high- quality standards required by Springer. The final decision on including your paper in the Springer book series will be made by Springer based on the quality of the paper and the proceedings.

Note
- Registration is required for all participants of ICACIn 2024.
- To be published in the ICACIn 2024 Conference Proceedings an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the conference Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to the conference start.
- Registration fees include conference sessions, conference proceedings, lunches and coffee breaks.

Deputy Dean for Postgraduate Research in Science and Engineering
Queen Mary University of London
Pr. Akram Alomainy received the M.Eng. degree in communication engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering (specialized in antennas and radio propagation) from Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), U.K., in July 2003 and July 2007, respectively. He joined the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, QMUL, in 2007, where he is a Professor of Antennas & Applied EM. He has authored and co-authored 5 books, 6 book chapters, and more than 500 technical papers (11500+ citations) in leading journals and peer-reviewed conferences. Prof Alomainy won the Isambard Brunel Kingdom Award, in 2011, for being an outstanding young science and engineering communicator and the QMUL 2019 Educational Excellence Award. He was selected to deliver a TEDx talk about the science of electromagnetic and also participated in many public engagement initiatives and festivals. He is an elected member of the UK URSI (International Union of Radio Science) panel to represent the UK interests of URSI Commission B.
Professor in Big Data Analytics at Computing and Digital Technology School
Birmingham City University, UK
Pr. Mohamed Gaber received his PhD from Monash University in Australia, and then held appointments with the University of Sydney and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO). Prior to joining Birmingham City University, Mohamed held academic positions at Robert Gordon University and the University of Portsmouth.
Mohamed has been listed in the world’s top two per cent of best scientists in his field of research and in the world’s top one per cent in artificial intelligence and image processing (Elsevier BV and Stanford University, 2021).
He has published over 150 papers, co-authored two monograph-style books, and edited/co-edited six books on data mining and knowledge discovery. Mohamed has served in the programme committees of several major conferences related to data mining, including the International Conference on Data Mining, the Pacific-Asia Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, and the International Conference on Machine Learning. In 2007, he was awarded the CSIRO Teamwork award.
Professor in Interactive Systems for Social Inclusion
Nottingham Trent University, UK
Pr. David Brown Professor David Brown is the Director of the Computing and Informatics Research Centre (CIRC) and the Research Group Leader for the Interactive Systems Research Group (ISRG) at Nottingham Trent University. His research primarily focuses on enhancing accessibility, developing virtual reality applications for rehabilitation, and creating multimodal affect recognition systems for personalized learning. He is also a pioneer in social robotics for education and the development of serious games aimed at improving physical and cognitive skills.
Professor Brown's work is internationally recognized, with significant funding from various EU projects, including Horizon 2020, Erasmus+, and other initiatives focused on inclusive education and accessible technology. He has contributed extensively to the fields of accessibility, virtual environments, and serious games, holding roles such as Governor of Oak Field School and Conference Chair for the International Conference on Disability, Virtual Reality, and Associated Technology (ICDVRAT). Additionally, he serves as an Associate Editor for Frontiers: Virtual Reality in Medicine
Dr. Redmond is an International Consultant, Speaker, Author, and Trainer.
Dr. Redmond Prof. Michael C. Redmond holds advanced degrees, including an MBA and PhD, and numerous professional certifications such as MBCP, FBCI, CEM, and PMP. Dr. Redmond is certified as a Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor in various ISO standards, including Information Security Management (ISO/IEC 27001) and Business Continuity Management Systems (ISO/IEC 22301).
With a distinguished career spanning roles as a Senior Manager at Deloitte and KPMG, Prof. Redmond has led projects across sectors such as healthcare, insurance, finance, and manufacturing. She specializes in developing cybersecurity incident response plans, business continuity strategies, and training programs. Her work has significantly contributed to improving incident management processes, aligning them with best practices like NIST and ISO standards.
Prof. Redmond is also a respected international consultant, speaker, and author. She has spoken at prestigious conferences, including the International ISSA Conference and the NYS Cyber Security Conference, and has served as an Adjunct Professor at New York University and John Jay College. Her contributions to the field have earned her recognition, including being named one of the "Women of Distinction for 2016" by Women of Distinction Magazine.
